Hi!  My name is Krystle, and obviously I love books! Whether they are hardbacks, paperbacks, or e-books, I’ll read them any way I can get them. I don’t have a favorite genre per se because I feel like limiting myself to just one type of book would also limit my potential for personal growth and entertainment; however, I do tend to read books that fall in the Young Adult category more often than not. Young Adult books seem to cover a wide enough range of story-lines and characters to keep me interested. What can I say? I’m young at heart! But don’t be surprised if you see a review for Horror, Mystery, Fantasy, or classic novels that are intended for an older audience on my blog from time to time too.

I grew up as an Air Force brat, therefore, my family did quite a bit of traveling all over the country.  I feel  being exposed to so much diversity at a very young age has made me the type of person who can fit in just about anywhere and get along with all different types of people. I obviously love to read, but I also like to share what I’ve read with others. I like to take away the most edifying part of every book that I read with me, and I am hoping that this blog will help me find lots of great books to read in the future.

I want Kookie Krysp Reads to be a place for readers like myself to discover wonderful new books through my reviews, events, and giveaways, and I also just want to make this a fun blog so don’t be surprised if I go off topic and, one in a while, write a random post about life and the other things I enjoy. I always love to get comments and have discussions about the books I read/promote and the post that I write so please use the comment section as often as you like.

Most importantly, I would just like to thank you for stopping by!

I am always looking for new book loving friends so send me a friend request on Goodreads!

Sharing is caring!

    1. Thank you for following my blog, Candace! I plan on checking in with your blog often, and I love the post you did about rappers who wrote poetry books. I have always considered rap to be poetry. 🙂

Also thanks for nominating me, that award looks very interesting! Of course I accept!

      1. Oops, I clearly need to read my posts before my finger hits the post button! Let’s try that again…LOL, until you settle in one place and the itch go someplace new hits! Do you find that? Do you have to travel at least once a year?

        1. No problem! I learned to read over my post a while ago because I always have too many typos. Lol

I don’t have to go somewhere at least once a year, but I like to, and if I don’t, I definitely get that jumpy feeling you mentioned! I’m actually about to move again soon so I should be good for the year!

    1. Aw, thank you!

You’re blog is amazing! I’ll be sure to visit because I am always looking for a good Fantasy book. I never know which one to choose so hopefully your reviews can help me out! 🙂

  2. So happy to have subscribed to your blog. I love all your reviews. They actually help me decide whether or not to read a particular book. May you have loads of more followers.
